Install IPTV on a Samsung TV in 5 minutes
On a Samsung TV, install IBO Player from Apps, send us two IDs on WhatsApp, and your channels are ready in 5 minutes — without typing anything on the remote.
Step-by-step setup
Four simple steps — no technical skills needed. We stay available on WhatsApp at every step.
-
Sign in to your Samsung account
Since its 2023 models, Samsung requires an account to download an app. It is free: if the TV asks for one, create it from your phone at account.samsung.com — quicker than with the remote — then sign in on the TV.
-
Install IBO Player
From the Home screen, open Apps, select the magnifying glass at the top right, type “IBO Player”, then choose Install.
-
Send us the MAC address and device key
Open the app: it shows the MAC address and the device key. Take a photo of the screen and send it to us on WhatsApp — a photo rules out any copying mistake.
-
Restart the app
When we confirm the activation, close IBO Player and open it again: your 17,000+ channels and 80,000+ films and series appear. You’re all set.
A 12-month Premium 4K or VIP 4K subscription includes 12 months of IBO Player activation for one compatible device. The full guide to the app, including recovery after a MAC address change, is on our blog.

All these apps are free.
Which app should you choose?
On a Samsung TV, which runs the Tizen system, two apps do the job without any typing: IBO Player and Smart IPTV. Both show an ID — the MAC address — that you send us on WhatsApp; we then load your channel list remotely. We recommend IBO Player: with a 12-month Premium 4K or VIP 4K plan, its activation is included for a year on one compatible device, and it also shows a device key that lets the activation be recovered if the MAC address ever changes.
What most often gets in the way is not the app but the Samsung account. Since its 2023 models, Samsung requires one to access Smart Hub and download an app: without it, the TV only works with devices plugged in over HDMI and with the aerial. The account is free. The easiest way is to create it from your phone at account.samsung.com, then sign in on the TV. On older models, you may not be asked for one.
IPTV Smarters Pro and other players exist too, but whether they appear in the Samsung store depends on the country and the TV’s model year. If you can’t find an app, nothing is broken: take IBO Player or Smart IPTV instead. And if you’re unsure, just send us your TV’s model number, printed on the label at the back: we’ll reply with the right app for your model.
Your access arrives on WhatsApp
After your order or free-trial request, we send your credentials (or your link) directly on WhatsApp. That’s what activates your channels on a Samsung TV.
If it doesn’t work
-
The store won’t download or asks for an account
It is almost always the Samsung account, required since the 2023 models to install an app. Create one for free at account.samsung.com from your phone, sign in on the TV, then start the installation again. Without an account, Smart Hub stays locked and no app can be installed.
-
You can’t find the app in Apps
The Samsung store doesn’t offer the same apps in every country or for every model year. Search for the other app on our list: when Smart IPTV doesn’t show up, IBO Player often does, and vice versa. On an older model, some apps are no longer offered. Send us the model number printed on the back of the TV and we’ll point you to an app available for your model.
-
The app freezes, stops loading or closes
Samsung recommends this order, from the simplest to the most drastic. One: fully restart the TV by unplugging it for about thirty seconds. Two: update the TV’s software, in the Support menu. Three: delete the app, then reinstall it from Apps. After a reinstall, check the MAC address on screen: if it has changed, send us the new one and we’ll reattach your list.
-
Reset Smart Hub, as a last resort
If nothing works, Samsung suggests resetting Smart Hub: Settings, Support, Device Care, Self Diagnosis, Reset Smart Hub, with the PIN — 0000 by default. Be aware: this deletes every app and the linked accounts. Do it from the Home screen, not from inside an app. Then reinstall IBO Player and send us the MAC address shown if it has changed.
-
The picture freezes at peak hours
In the evening, the home wifi is shared between every screen and the signal passes through several walls. If your TV allows it, plug in a network cable: it’s the single most effective fix for stuttering. Note that the cable and the wifi don’t have the same MAC address: if you switch connection type, send us the new ID shown. If only one channel cuts out, report it to us on WhatsApp.
